Moise Bombito & Yannick Bright Earn All-America Honors

Bombito named to the second team and Bright to the third team.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Junior back Moise Bombito (Montreal, Quebec) and junior midfielder Yannick Bright (Milan, Italy) of the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team have earned 2022 All-America accolades as announced by United Soccer Coaches.
Bombito was named to the second team and Bright is on the third team.
This is the sixth straight season that the Wildcats have had at least one All-American. The previous All-Americans for UNH were Bob Black (1976), Mike Veneto (1993 & 1994), Robin Schmidt (2017), Josh Bauer (2018 & 2019), Antonio Colacci (2019), Bridger Hansen (2020), Paul Mayer (2020), Adam Savill (2021), Bright (2021) and Tola Showunmi (2021).
Bombito, who just recently was named a semifinalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy and is attending the MLS College Showcase, won the 2022 America East Defender of the Year, while he also earned first team All-America East accolades. He tied for third on the team with four goals and tied for second with two game winners. Bombito led a defense that was third in the nation with a 0.500 team goals against average. He earned 2021 All-America accolades at Iowa Western Community College.
Bright, who is also attending the MLS College Showcase, was named the America East Midfielder of the Year for the second straight season, while he also earned First Team All-America East honors for the second consecutive year. The 2021 First Team All-American and 2021 MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist, tallied two goals and one assist for five points.
UNH went 15-4-1 (.775) overall in the 2022 season. The Wildcats went 6-1-0 in America East earning the regular season championship for the fourth straight season and their fifth regular season championship in program history. UNH then won its fourth America East Tournament championship and made its seventh NCAA Tournament appearance and sixth straight. The Wildcats defeated Seton Hall, 2-1, in the first round at Wildcat Stadium and then tied No. 10 seed Florida International, 2-2, in the second round but lost the 12 round-shootout 10-9.
The Wildcats posted 11 shutouts and outscored the opposition, 38-12.
