Scott Martineau Named Assistant Alpine Coach

Martineau brings numerous years of coaching experience to the program.

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire ski program has named Scott Martineau as an assistant alpine coach.

"We are very excited to add Scott to the coaching staff," said UNH head alpine ski coach Brian Blank. "He brings a lot of experience and knowledge."

Martineau is the Under-12 alpine coach at Gunstock Ski Club. From 2015-2020 he served as the Under-16 and Under-19 alpine head coach for the Pats Peak Ski Team. Previously he was the alpine coach and program director for the McIntyre Ski Team from 2004-2014. Martineau has a United States ski and snowboard level 200 certificate.

In addition to his ski coaching experience, Martineau is also the head coach of the boys varsity lacrosse team at Interlakes High School and head coach of the boys soccer B team at Gilford Middle School.

Martineau is a 1988 graduate of New Hampshire College as a Management major.
