Curran Wins Mile at Maine Open Invitational

Wildcats post three second place finishes.
RESULTS
ORONO, Maine – Junior William Curran (Old Saybrook, Conn.) won the mile as the University of New Hampshire men's track and field team competed at the Maine Open Invitational at New Balance Maine Field House.

Curran took the event with a time of 4:29.45.
The Wildcats also posted three second place finishes. Junior Andrew Fleming (Acton, Mass.) placed second in the shot put with a throw of 47'2.25".

Senior Brian Genet (Merrimack, N.H.) recorded a career-best time of 8.97 for the second-place finish.
Sophomore Adrian Sutton (Rochester, N.H.) also posted a personal best time at 52.74 to place second.
The Wildcats will return to action when they travel to Roxbury, Mass., for the New England Championships on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 4-5.Â
