First Quarter
- Natale scored on the first shot of the game to give Boston College a 1-0 lead at 5:27 when she dribbled into the middle of the circle and scored from close range.
- A shot off the stick of sophomore Ava Mariani (Easton, Pa.) was saved by Kennedy, but it led to a corner and that generated a shot by freshman Rosalie Post (The Hague, Netherlands) that was blocked by a BC defender.
- Woods denied Sky Caron in the 14th minute, then in the closing seconds of the quarter she turned aside Govaert and Margo Carlin off the rebound to keep the 'Cats within one goal.
- BC recorded a 10-2 shot advantage (4-1 on goal) and a 6-1 edge in penalty corners in the opening 15 minutes.
Second Quarter
- Five minutes into the second quarter, Post's shot beat Kennedy but Clement was in position to prevent the ball from going into the cage and tie the score.
- That led directly to a UNH corner, however, and Mariani's shot went wide.
- UNH sustained pressure and, just 30 seconds later, a shot by junior Finn Caron (Hampton, N.H.) also beat the goalkeeper Kennedy, but this time Govaert stopped the ball from crossing the goal line to tie the score.
- The Wildcats did not record a shot the rest of the quarter.
- In the second quarter, BC had a 4-3 shot advantage (2-2 on goal) and a 3-1 edge in corners.
Third Quarter
- Warner scored 9:25 into the second half (at 39:25) to extend the home team's lead to 2-0.
- That was just the second shot of the third quarter. The Eagles had a 4-0 shot advantage in the quarter.
Fourth Quarter
- Kennedy denied freshman Lindsay Lee (Eindhoven, Netherlands) in the 48th minute to preserve BC's 2-0 lead.
- UNH was awarded a penalty stroke at 49:35, but senior captain Bloem van den Brekel (Eindhoven, Netherlands) was stopped by Kennedy to keep the margin at two goals.
- Junior Tia Raspante (Sandwich, Mass.) had a shot turned aside by Kennedy in the 54th minute and Mariani was denied 30 seconds later.
- Woods made two more saves in the closing minute to increase her total to double digits.
- The Wildcats generated four shots on goal in comparison to BC's two in the final frame; overall shots were 6-4 in the Eagles' favor.
