McGrath, Monahan and O’Hern Win Events at Quad Meet

VIEW RESULTS
HANOVER, N.H. – The Wildcats won three events as the University of New Hampshire men's track and field team placed fourth in a quad meet at Leverone Field House with 102 points. Vermont and Maine tied for first with 155 points, while Dartmouth was third with 128 points.
Senior Kevin McGrath (Hopkinton, N.H.) won the high jump with a height of 6' 8 ¾ which tied his career best, while senior Emmanuel Nkounkou (Dover, N.H.) and sophomore Andrew Kelly (Portsmouth, N.H.) tied for second at 6' 6 ¾.
Junior Aidan O'Hern (Concord, N.H.) placed first in the 3000 meters with a time of 8:25.76.
Senior Michael Monahan (Tewksbury, Mass.) captured the 60-meter hurdles (8.29).
Junior Kenney McElroy (West Linn, Ore.) finished second in the 500 meters with a time of 1:08.65.
Junior Dillon Adamy (Clinton, N.J.) earned second place in the one mile with a time of 4:20.76.
Senior Spenser Sawyer (Windham, N.H.) was second in the 800 meters at 1:57.08, while senior Colin Conery (Concord, N.H.) was third at 1:58.22.
The Wildcats will return to action at the Sorlien Memorial Invitational at Mackal Field House in Kingston, R.I. on Saturday, Jan. 15.
