Addison Cox Named America East Performer of the Week

Cox placed ninth at the New England Championships
BOSTON - Freshman Addison Cox (Northwood, N.H.) has been named the America East Cross Country Performer of the Week. This is the fist time in her career she has earned this honor.
Cox led the Wildcats with a ninth place finish out of 155 runners with a time of 17:52.8 at the New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston. UNH had an outstanding meet as the Wildcats placed second out of 23 teams with 99 total points.
Cox has had a strong rookie season as she placed ninth in her collegiate debut at the Friar Invitational with a time of 18:39.49. She also finished 63rd with a time of 18:24 versus national competition at the Coast-To-Coast Battle in Beantown.
UNH returns to action on Friday, October 22 at the CCSU Mini Meet. Race time from Stanley Park in New Britain, Conn is 3 p.m.
