STORYLINES
UNH has a 26-19 lifetime record against Stony Brook, but the Seawolves have won four straight and five of the last six. Prior to that, UNH had won five straight in the series.
SBU has won each of the past three matchups in Lundholm Gym; prior to that, the Wildcats defended Durham in February 2016 and January 2017.
Senior guard Amanda Torres enters the weekend ranked 12th in the nation in minutes played (400 minutes, 26 seconds). She also ranks 29th in steals with 26.
UNH leads America East in free throw percentage; the Wildcats rank second in FT made and attempted per game
UNH is also second in offensive rebounding, third in rebounding, and third in both steals and fewest turnovers per game.
SBU leads the America East in defense (52.8 ppg) and is #3 in offense (57.6 ppg). The Seawolves also lead the conference in field goal percent defense; the opposition makes just 34.2% of its attempted shots. SBU ranks second in both rebounding margin (+3.6) and steals (8.38 per game).

Last weekend, the Wildcats were scheduled to travel to UMBC but were rerouted to Binghamton University (UNH was scheduled to play the Bearcats at home the last weekend of January). New Hampshire returned with a split of the two-game series vs. the Bearcats.
Last Sunday, UNH scored the last five points of the game to record a 57-52 victory. In Monday's rematch, Binghamton scored the last three points of the game for a 58-56 win.
