FROM THE COACH:
...on Elisabeth Danis
"The highlight of the day is definitely Elisabeth [Danis] finishing 8th in this race; it's a fantastic achievement, she ran an aggressive hard race and I'm very proud of her. We'll find out on Saturday if she gets an at-large bid. She put herself in a position to be selected, so we'll see if she gets in."
…on Meg Champagne
"Meg Champagne, that's the highest she's ever finished in this race, went out and ran a great race and I want to thank her for all her great cross country races for the University of New Hampshire; she's been a part of some great teams."
…on Shannon Murdock
"[Shannon Murdock] went out hard today; she's our senior captain, she'll be missed greatly and we'll look forward to the track season, but as far as cross country goes she's been a remarkable athlete for the University of New Hampshire and I can't think of anyone who's been more committed to the program and our success."
…on the team as a whole and the future
"We had a great season, we won a New England championship, the conference championship, finished 11th in the region, one of the best teams UNH has ever had. The rest of the team will be returning next year, I feel like we ran our best race two weeks ago and just ran out of gas. We'll regroup, get ready for track, and be better next season."
