DURHAM, N.H. – University of New Hampshire women's basketball coach Maureen Magarity has announced six additions to the team's roster for the fall of 2018.
Point guard Kari Brekke (Appleton, Wis.), shooting guard Kali Grimm (Norwood Young America, Minn.), guard Mariah Gonzalez (Watkins Glen, N.Y.), forward Faith Bonett (Moorestown, N.J.), forward Ivy Gogolin (Hopkinton, Mass.) and center Mary Foster (Elmira, N.Y.) have signed National Letters of Intent to accept UNH basketball scholarships and will be enrolling in school for the fall semester.
"I think it's a very well-rounded class," Magarity said. "I'm really excited about the versatility of the class. I think we're bringing in some very talented scoring guards. And we're also bringing in some athletic post players that I think can make an impact."
The Wildcats lose seven seniors to graduation off the 2017-18 roster and there will be playing time available for newcomers next season.
"We'll be looking at them to come in right away and play for us," Magarity said.
