HOW IT HAPPENED:

- In the 11th minute, Vermont had their chance to respond on a dangerous free kick that could've had a chance, but it was collected by Neas in the box, preventing a shot on net.

- UNH's second goal came in the 30th minute, as Murphy took a shot off a free kick. The shot was initially saved by Vermont 'keeper Coco Speckmaier, but she couldn't control the rebound and Dorsey charged in to tap the rebound into the net, giving UNH the insurance goal.
- After halftime the Catamounts would take control of the shot chart, tallying eight shots in the half, and not allowing a shot on goal.
- Murphy got another chance in the box in the 50th minute, but as she attempted to dribble past a defender, two more came to swarm her and she was disposessed.
- Vermont got another scoring chance in the 53rd minute as a striker challenged Neas, who charged her at the top of the box and made a diving block to stop the attack.
