Purrier Wins Second Straight Coast to Coast Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Elinor Purrier (Montgomery, Vt.) finished first overall at the Coast-to-Coast Invitational for the second year in a row. With a time of 16:49, she finished 14 seconds faster than the next runner, who clocked in at 17:03.
Purrier won last years' Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown with a time of 17:06, making this years' finish 17 seconds faster than her winning time last season.
Purrier beat out 188 other runners as UNH came in seventh out of 22 teams, with 241 points. Providence finished in first place with 71 points, Indiana came in second and Georgetown came in third, both with 78 points.
