Kittredge Earns Sixth in 800-meter Run on Day Two of Colonial Relays

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Senior Jacob Kittredge (Amherst, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire men's track & field team placed sixth overall in the 800-meter run Friday afternoon at the 52^nd Colonial Relays at Walter J. Zable Stadium.

Kittredge ran a personal-best time of 1 minute, 51.83 seconds which is 0.1 seconds faster than his previous-best mark in the event.

Sophomore William Ulrich (Mineola, N.Y.) placed seventh, one spot behind Kittredge, in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:52.10.

Another top finish was senior Andrew McFarland (Nazareth, Pa.) who competed in the 400-meter hurdles and clocked in at 55.41 seconds for 12^th overall.

The Wildcats sit tied for 27^th overall after two days of competition with seven points. The men's team will compete tomorrow in the distance medley relay with Brett Hoerner (Manchester, N.H.), Ross Hardy (North Andover, Mass.), Kittredge and Ulrich, and the 4x400-meter relay with Brandon Allen (East Elmhurst, N.Y.), John Cox (Rome, Ga.), McFarland and Hardy.
