Dunbar Tallies Lone Goal in 7-1 Loss to #4 Colgate

The Wildcats were outshot 15-5 in the third period.
DURHAM, N.H. – Sophmore forward Nicole Dunbar (Coto de Caza, Calif.) scored the lone goal for the University of New Hampshire women's ice hockey team as they suffered a 7-1 loss against #4 Colgate at the Whittemore Center Friday afternoon.
Junior goaltender Hilary Cashin (Fredericton New Brunswick) made her season-debut with 16 saves in 31:48 minutes of play. Freshman goaltender Ava Boutilier (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island) got her 11th start of the season, the loss puts her at 6-2-3 overall on the season.

GAME RECAP
· Dunbar found the back of the net off of a rebounding shot at 13:48 in the first period to put the Wildcats on the board first.
· Colgate's Shae Labbe tied it up with a power play goal, tipped in from Boutilier's sick side at 15:21 in the first period.
· Labbe opened up the second stanza with a power play goal 20 seconds in.
· Labbe notched her third of the game for a hat trick at 4:30 into the second period.
· Colgate's Coralie Larose added another one with a wrist shot from the top of the circle at 8:17 in the second.
· Cashin took over in goal for Boutilier after Larose's goal.
· Just 31 seconds after, Colgate's Jackie Leone found the back of the net with a wrist shot from the slot.
· Colgate's Bailey Bennett added another goal for the Raiders with a slap shot from the slot at 11:04 in the second period.
· Bennett tallied her second point of the game at 14:55 in the third period, assisting Hoppner on Colgate's seventh goal of the afternoon.
