America East Play Opens With Stony Brook on ESPN3 (Jan. 5: 7 PM)

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's basketball team will open America East play with Stony Brook University on Thursday, Jan. 5 (7 PM) in Lundholm Gymnasium on ESPN3.
Looking Ahead
The Wildcats will have six days off before taking on the University at Albany on the road on Jan. 11 (7 PM). The 'Cats return home on Jan. 14 with a 1 PM matchup with Binghamton University in Lundholm. Both contests will be on ESPN3.

- New Hampshire defeated Wheelock College 95-50 on Monday to improve to 9-5 on the season.
- 95 points is the largest point total since Jan. 18, 2016 when they scored 99 in a win at Maine.
- Freshman John Ogwuche (Makurdi, Nigeria) scored a career-high 15 points off the bench with five rebounds in 24 minutes.

All-Time Series
Stony Brook holds a slight 16-15 lead in the all-time series and has won four of the last five meetings including three straight. The Wildcats last won at home on Jan. 31, 2015 in a 63-48 game.

The ESPN3 production started on Dec. 21 against Daniel Webster College.
