Baykova Breaks Pool Record in Final Day of Terrier Invitational

BOSTON – Junior Liza Baykova (Moscow, Russia) shattered a Boston University Pool record in the 100-yard freestyle for the University of New Hampshire women's swimming and diving team on Sunday in the final day of competition at the Terrier Invitational.
The junior clocked in with a time of 49.68 seconds, claiming the pool record time as she topped the previous record of 49.91 seconds set back in 2008. It was her third top finish of the Invitational as she also took first in the 50-yard freestyle on Friday with a time of 23.03 seconds and the 200-yard freestyle on Saturday with a time of 1:48.68.
