Wildcats Race Past Binghamton, 155.5-129.5

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Senior Sarah Broderick (Haverhill, Mass.) and junior Liza Baykova (Moscow, Russia) each recorded four first-place finishes at the University of New Hampshire women's swimming and diving team defeated Binghamton University, 155.5-129.5, Saturday afternoon at Binghamton.
First Place Finishes:
Event 1: 200-Yard Medley Relay – Broderick, Sarah Olver (Durham, N.H.), Colby Harvey (Cape Elizabeth, Maine), Baykova – 1:49.59
Event 2: 1,000-Yard Freestyle – Broderick – 10:37.42
Event 3: 200-Yard Freestyle – Brittany Moffatt (Cedar Falls, Iowa) – 1:57.12
Event 4: 100-Yard Backstroke – Corinne Carbone (Medway, Mass.) – 1:00.23
Event 5: 100-Yard Breaststroke – Milana Evsten (Stockholm, Sweden) – 1:05.82
Event 6: 200-Yard Butterfly – Vivienne El-Sibay (Munich, Germany) – 2:06.92
Event 7: 50-Yard Freestyle – Baykova – 23.92 seconds
Event 8: 1-Meter Dive – Erin Cullather (Highland Park, Ill.) – 202.65 points
Event 10: 100-Yard Freestyle – Baykova – 51.35 seconds

Evsten competed in her first collegiate meet after joining the team in January. She collected one first place finish and two second place finishes. Cullather's top result in the 1-meter dive was her first gold medal performance of the season.
What's Next:
The Wildcats finish the weekend with a meet at Niagara University on Sunday, Jan. 22 that begins at 10 a.m. The team wraps up the regular season on Friday, Jan. 27 when they travel to the University of Maine for a 5 p.m. meet.
