Mahoney, Mahon and Wright Power Wildcats to convincing home victory
DURHAM, N.H. — Senior captain Audrey Mahoney (Downers Grove, Ill.), junior captain Grace Mahon (Orange, Conn.) and junior Emily Loren Wright (Ventura, Calif.) combined for seven individual wins and sparked key relay performances to lead the UNH swimming and diving team to Monday afternoon's 188–112 victory against Rhode Island at Swasey Pool.
Top Wildcats
•Mahoney — Two sprint victories: 50 free (23.43 seconds) and 100 free (51.46), plus relay contributions.
•Mahon — Swept butterfly events: 200 fly (2:04.10) and 100 fly (56.01).
•Wright — Three wins: 100 breast (1:05.52), 200 breast (2:22.51), and 400 IM (4:36.07).
•Sophomore Amelia Labno (Rosemount, Minn.) — Backstroke double: 100 back (58.76) and 200 back (2:06.25).
•Sophomore Lydia Hart (Cornwall, Ontario) — Distance dominance: 1650 free (17:09.65) and 500 free (5:00.91).
•200-medley relay — UNH opened with a 200-medley relay win (1:45.65) with the team of Labno, Wright, Mahon and Mahoney.

•Hart led a 1-2 finish with senior captain Carolyn Nelson (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) second in 17:55.66; sophomore Marisa White (Apex, N.C.) was fourth.

•Junior Sydney Leblic (Madrid, Spain) took second (1:55.20), followed by sophomore Teagen Jeffers (Bedford, N.H.) in fourth and freshman Miriam Youel (West Hartford, Conn.) fifth.

•Labno won in 58.76, with Izzie Campion (Auckland, New Zealand) second and freshman Kelsey Mayers (Waxhaw, N.C.) third for a sweep.

•Wright claimed first in 1:05.52.

•Mahon led a 1-3-4 finish with senior Caitlin Mason (Charleston, S.C.) and Maddie Serfass (Hershey, Pa.) close behind.
