Hart, Mahoney help Wildcats win Buffalo Wild Wings Border Battle
ORONO, Maine —Junior Grace Blume (Dedham, Mass.) broke both school diving records while sophomore Lydia Hart (Cornwall, Ontario) and senior captain Audrey Mahoney (Downers Grove, Ill.) powered the UNH swimming and diving team to Friday's 167–118 victory against Maine in the Border Battle, presented by Buffalo Wild Wings, at the Stanley M. Wallace Pool.
Blume shattered both UNH diving records, setting new program marks on the 1‑meter with 301.80 points and the 3‑meter with 309.53 points. Hart swept the distance events with wins in the 1000 freestyle (10 minutes, 12.05 seconds) and 500 freestyle (5:05.74), while Mahoney added victories in the 200 freestyle (1:55.85) and 100 freestyle (51.67).
