Bilal Kamal, a midfield graduate student on the UNH men's soccer team, was honored as the Service Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week on Oct. 9. Kamal has started all 11 games this season and recorded a career high of four points against Northeastern University. He scored one of the three goals in the shutout against the Huskies, along with two assists.

Bilal has contributed three goals and four assists so far in the season and has had nine shots on goal for a 0.529 shooting percentage. He leads his team in assists and is close to reaching a personal high for assists in a season, which is currently five. He is also fifth in assists in the America East conference.

Bilal and the Wildcats return to action this Saturday, Oct. 14 (7 p.m.), when they face off against the UMBC Retrievers at Retriever Soccer Park.
