Tasmin Cookman, a sophomore forward and captain on the UNH field hockey team, was named a Service Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week on Sept. 18.
Cookman scored three goals over six minutes and 24 seconds on Sept. 17 to lead the Wildcats to a 7-1 victory over UC Davis at Memorial Field. Cookman had five total shots, with four of them being on goal, contributing to the Wildcat victory and boosting their record to 5-2 overall, 4-0 at home and 2-0 in America East.
This is Cookman's third multiple-goal game of the season and the three goals ties her personal best in a game.
Cookman leads the team in goals (9), points (19), and shots on goal (24).
The Wildcats are traveling up to Vermont on Friday, Sept. 22 to take on the Catamounts in an America East game at 3 p.m.
