Cullen Aubin enters his fifth season as Assistant Coach for the Wildcats responsible for the throwing events, pole vault, and strength and conditioning coach for the team. In 2021, Aubin returned to the Wildcats after serving the previous two seasons as a full-time volunteer under now retired UNH legend, Coach Jim Boulanger. Since joining the Wildcat’s staff, Aubin has coached 8 Conference Champions, 9 New England Champions, and 5 UNH school records. He has also taken 5 student athletes to the First Round of the NCAA Championship.
Aubin graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2018 with a degree in Kinesiology. He served as captain of the Men’s throwers while competing in the hammer throw. After graduation, Aubin worked at Mississippi State University as a Graduate Assistant strength and conditioning coach for Track and Field, Women’s Volleyball, and Women’s Soccer.
Aubin is a certified USA Track and Field Coach, and has traveled around the country to learn his coaching style from World Champions, Olympians, and World Record Holders. He has attended the USATFCCCA convention and studied at the US Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California.
Aubin is a native of Warwick, Rhode Island, and attended Bishop Hendricken High School.
