Gabby DeAngelis Selected to America East All-Academic Team

DeAngelis won gold in the steeplechase at the New England Championships
BOSTON – Graduate student distance runner Gabby DeAngelis (Bedford, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire women's track and field team has been named to the 2025 Women's Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic Team. DeAngelis was one of 10 student-athletes from the conference to be selected.
To be eligible for All-Academic, student-athletes must have sophomore athletic eligibility, attain a 3.30 minimum grade-point average and be a contributor on their team. The squad is voted on by a committee made up of America East student-athlete support staff, athletic communications administrators as well as faculty athletic representatives.
DeAngelis posted a 3.85 GPA as a graduate student majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering. She won gold in the 3,000 meter steeplechase in a personal record time of 10:39.25 at the 2025 New England Outdoor Championships. She also captured gold as a member of the 4x800 meter relay team at the 2025 America East Outdoor Championships where she placed fourth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. During the indoor season, she won gold as a member of the Distance Medley Relay Team at the 2025 New England Championships.
Prior to this season, DeAngelis was a 2023 CSC Academic All-District selection as a member of the Siena women's soccer team, while she was a three-time MAAC All-Academic Team & MAAC Academic Honor Roll member.
