Gibbs enters his first season as assistant coach for the Wildcats.
Gibbs most recently has served as the head coach at Berwick Academy in South Berwick, Maine for the last four seasons. He has also coached with the New Hampshire Spartans AAU program. Gibbs was the 2017 EIL Coach of the Year and his teams reached the NEPSAC Tournament every year he coached at Berwick Academy, which includes the top eight teams in New England - Class-C.
Gibbs, who is a Brockton, Mass. native, was a Second-Team All-Conference America East selection in 2008-09 and an America East All-Conference Third Team honoree in 2007-08. The guard played four seasons for the Wildcats (2005-2009) and ranks eighth all-time in program history in points (1,329), field goal attempts (1,125) and three-point field goal percentage (39.4). His 233 three-point field goals made rank third all-time in team history, while his 592 three-point field goal attempts, 60 blocks and 3,711 minutes played all rank fifth in the Wildcat history books.
