STEM Day at UNH Football
STEM DAY ACTIVITIES – 10:30a-1:30p/ to halftime
Cat Pack Plaza Activities (located in south end zone, opposite the video board – near white touchdown tents)
UNH Manchester Robotics: Robotic Freeze tag
Indoor Track Activities (located on the visitor’s sideline inside the brick field house. Behind the band)

Children’s Museum of New Hampshire: Explore flight - Make your own coffee filter parachute to take home, and you can also make a straw airplane to test out.
National Weather Service: Make it Rain - Brief overview of the water cycle to include how clouds form. Then quick contest of who can make it rain the most into a rain gauge using a sponge and bucket of water in a certain amount of time.
Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream: Bringing liquid nitrogen experiments
NH Astronomical Society: Will have a table where we will have several displays concerning the Sun and solar Astronomy, along with NASA posters and related hand-outs. Also we will have telescopes and conduct safe solar observing outdoors.
UNH-Sea Perch: Learn about the Seacoast SeaPerch program and test drive one of their Remotely Operated Vehicles in our mini pool.

- Learn about Potential and Kinetic energy and design and build your own balloon car.
- Learn about Cyber Security and solve your own coded puzzles!
- Learn about forces that affect Flight and make your own Fling Flyer (Like a paper airplane, but better!)!
- Learn about Binary Code and design your own binary code ID bracelet or key chain!

Activity Name: Frankenstein-Unplugged
Learn coding concepts while helping Frankenstein navigate the haunted forest to find his bride a present. In this 20 minute interactive exercise students will learn that they need a common language in order to give clear instructions. Students will practice controlling one another using a simple combination of common instructions. Once they understand the language, they will begin to "program" one another by giving multiple instructions in advance.
