Twite placed third in the triple jump at the Pre-Conference Invitational
BOSTON – Freshman Alain Twite (Concord, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire men's track and field team has been named the America East Male Rookie of the Week for his performance at the Pre-Conference Invitational at UMass on April 27.
This is Twite's first career America East weekly award.
Twite placed third in the triple jump in a personal record distance of 47'0.25" at the Pre-Conference Invitational at UMass. He is sixth on the America East performance list for the triple jump.
The Wildcats will return to action on Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4 for the America East Championships at the Reggie Atkins Track and Field Facility at Wildcat Stadium.
