Aidan Shea leads ‘Cats with sixth place performance in the mile
RESULTS
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Wildcats recorded three top 10 finishes as the University of New Hampshire men's track and field team competed at the Friar Invitational on Friday night.
In the mile, the Wildcats posted two top 10 finishes. Graduate student Aidan Shea (Amherst, Mass.) placed sixth out of 81 athletes with a time of 4:06.66 and senior Kevin Finn (Kennebunk, Maine) was 10th as he recorded a time of 4:10.39.
Junior Joshua Lesniak (Durham, Conn.) placed eighth out of 12 in the 3,000m steeplechase in a time of 9:33.05.
Junior John Murphy (Deerfield, N.H.) posted a time of 14:53.27 in the 5,000m run to place 26th out of 48 athletes.
The Wildcats return to action on Sunday, April 13, at the Commonwealth Invitational in Amherst, Mass.
