KINGSTON, R.I. – Juniors John Murphy (Deerfield, N.H.) and Liam McGovern (North Kingstown, R.I.) both claimed first-place finishes as the University of New Hampshire men's track and field team competed in the URI Coaches Invitational at the Mackal Field house.

Murphy clocked in at 8:28.50 in the 3000m run, and McGovern marked at 18.93m in the weight throw.
