18 UNH Women’s Cross Country Runners Placed on America East Academic Honor Roll

BOSTON – The University of New Hampshire women's cross country team placed 18 student-athletes on the America East Academic Honor Roll for Fall 2023. Seventeen runners earned Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition and one made the Honor Roll.
Commissioner's Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who recorded a Fall 2023 semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher. Student-athletes with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 are named to the Honor Roll. The 2023 UNH women's cross country team placed 89.5 percent of its roster on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and 94.5 percent overall was honored.
Six Wildcats recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA in Fall '23; those highly distinguished Wildcats are Lauren Boilard (San Francisco, Calif.), Ava Graham (Bethel, Conn.), Delaney Hesler (Steep Falls, Maine), Madison Hoppler (Durham, N.H.), Kaitlin Lennox (Hampton Falls, N.H.), and Alyssa Walker (Horseheads, N.Y.).
Silvia Caddell (Salem, N.H.), Zoe Catrambone (Cranston, R.I.), Lily Doody (Lee, N.H.), Reagan Hoy (Surry, N.H.), Hannah Langstaff (Windham, Maine), Lizzie Martell (Essex Junction, Vt.), Katie Palmateer (Henniker, N.H.), Claire Ronan (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.), Solstice Saliba (Ajax, Ontario), Emma York (Penacook, N.H.), Susanna Zahn (Bow, N.H.) also made the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Amelia Jackson (Harmony, R.I.) was named to the Honor Roll in her first year as a Wildcat.
Eighty percent of student-athletes who competed in America East sponsored sports in the 2023-24 academic year earned Honor Roll recognition for achieving at least a 3.0 GPA during the 2023 fall semester or 2024 spring semesters. In total, 53 percent of student-athletes and 1,828 in total earned Commissioner's Honor Roll status for registering a GPA of 3.5 or better. Overall, 2,738 America East student-athletes earned Academic Honor Roll in 2023-24. This marks the 19th consecutive year America East student-athletes have averaged at least a 3.0 GPA.
New Hampshire begins the 2024 season Aug. 31 at the Vermont Invite.
