18 Members of Swimming & Diving Earn America East Academic Honor Roll Accolades

16 Wildcats named to Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

BOSTON – A total of 18 members of the 2022-23 University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team were named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.

Sixteen Wildcats earned a spot on the Commissioner's Honor Roll, while two were named to the Honor Roll. Overall, an outstanding 90 percent of the team received one of the academic honors.

Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition is awarded to student-athletes with a spring semester GPA of 3.50 or higher, while Honor Roll accolades are bestowed to student-athletes who recorded a spring semester GPA between 3.0-3.49.

Trinity Devanney (Gulf Breeze, Fla.), Paige Edmier (Bartlett, Ill.), Megumi Komoto (Schaumburg, Ill.), Madison Linstedt (Marion, Ohio), Audrey Mahoney (Downers Grove, Ill.), Ana O'Neil (St. Paul, Minn.) and Chiara Maria Pradissitto (Milan, Italy) posted a perfect 4.0 GPA and were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Also earning Commissioner's Honor Roll accolades were Emma Clarke (Avon, N.Y.), Maddie Fritz (Lansdale, Pa.), Sarah Guerrette (Bow, N.H.), Ella Guilfoil (Fairport, N.Y.), Caitlin Mason (Charleston, S.C.), Abby McKinney (Westfield, N.J.), Carolyn Nelson (Glen Ellyn, Ill.), Grace Sala (Sun Prairie, Wis.) and Olivia Stille (Stockholm, Sweden), while Jamy Lum (Honolulu, Hawaii) and Sophia Routzahn (Frederick, Md.) received Honor Roll recognition.

The Wildcats won their fourth straight America East Championship and 11th overall this past season. This is the first time in program history that UNH has won four in a row. The Wildcats have a league-record 11 championships (1998, 1999, 2005, 2006, 2013, 2014, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023).

Seventy-seven percent of student-athletes who competed in America East sponsored sports this year secured Honor Roll recognition for earning at least a 3.0 GPA during the 2022 fall semester or 2023 spring semesters. Of that group, 52 percent of student-athletes and 1,797 in total earned Commissioner's Honor Roll status for registering a GPA of 3.5 or better. Overall, 2,694 America East student-athletes earned Academic Honor Roll in 2022-23.
