4x800m Relay Team Takes Second Place at ECAC Indoor Championships

BOSTON, MASS. - The University of New Hampshire women's track and field team concluded the ECAC Indoor Championships at the BU Track & Tennis Center Sunday afternoon with the 4x800m relay team placing second for the highest finish of the weekend for the 'Cats.
The Wildcats finished the day with 15 points as a team, coming in 19th place overall.
RESULTS
FIELD EVENTS
Graduate student Sarah Williams (Dover, N.H.) reached a distance of 18.05m in the weight throw, placing sixth overall out of 26 competitors.
Sophomore Autumn Agri (Stratham, N.H.) competed in the triple jump, finishing with a distance of 11.72m to come in eighth place.
TRACK EVENTS
The team of senior Cailey Archer (Berthoud, Colo.), junior Emma York (Penacook, N.H.), junior Hannah Langstaff (Windham, Maine), and sophomore Claire Ronan (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y), placed second in the 4x800m relay race with a time of 8:59.08.
Competing in the 3000m run, sophomore Jill Walker (Simi Valley, Calif.) came in seventh place with a time of 9:29.79. Graduate student Nicole Yeomans (Foxborough, Mass.) finished right behind Walker, placing eighth with a time of 9:32.01.

The Wildcats return to action when they begin the 2023 outdoor season at the Raleigh Relays from March 23-25.
