WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior captain Jamy Lum (Honolulu, Hawaii) won the 100 breaststroke and the Wildcats placed first in the 400 medley relay as the University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team is currently in first place after day three of the four-day America East Championships at the WPI Sports and Recreation Center. The Wildcats have won six events so far.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
100 BREASTSTROKE
Lum won her seventh individual America East title in a time of 1:01.92.
Freshman Sophia Routzahn (Frederick, Md.) secured her first America East medal with a third-place finish in a personal best time of 1:03.78.
400 MEDLEY RELAY
The 400 medley relay team of graduate student Shelby Kasse (Hoofddorp, Netherlands), Lum, sophomore Chiara Maria Pradissitto (Milan, Italy) and freshman Audrey Mahoney (Downers Grove, Ill.) won gold in a time of 3:44.14. This was the third relay win for the Wildcats during this year's America East Championships.
The first-place finish gave Lum her 15th overall America East championship.
400 IM
Senior captain Madison Linstedt (Marion, Ohio) won the bronze with a time of 4:24.30 earning her third career All-America East accolade.
Freshman Ella Guilfoil (Fairport, N.Y.) was fourth with a personal best time of 4:24.43, while freshman Trinity Devanney (Gulf Breeze, Fla.) placed sixth at 4:29.39 also setting a personal best.
100 BUTTERFLY
The Wildcats had three athletes qualify for the A finals of the 100 butterfly. Pradissitto led UNH at fourth with a career best time of 55.63.
Junior Abby McKinney (Westfield, N.J.) was sixth at 56.04, while sophomore Megumi Komoto (Schaumburg, Ill.) was eighth in a personal best time of 57:01.
200 FREESTYLE
Senior Olivia Stille (Stockholm, Sweden) posted a sixth-place finish with a time of 1:52.32.
100 BACKSTROKE
Kasse placed fifth with a time of 56.49.
1 METER DIVING
Sophomore Ana O'Neil (St. Paul, Minn.) posted a seventh-place finish with a score of 215.85.
