Wildcats Move to 3-0 with 182.5-117.5 Win at Siena

UNH sets three pool records.
LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – The Wildcats set three pool records as the University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team defeated Siena, 182.5-117.5 at the Siena Swim Center. UNH won 11 of the 16 events.
The Wildcats improve to 3-0 on the season, while Siena falls to 3-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sophomore Ella Guilfoil (Fairport, N.Y.) was a triple-winner as she set two pool records. Her pool record setting performances were in the 100 back (56.99) and 200 IM (2:07.76), while she also took the 200 breast (2:28.52). Her time in the 100 back was a career best.
- Sophomore Audrey Mahoney (Downers Grove, Ill.) also set a pool record with a first-place finish in the 50 free (23.98).
- Sophomore Carolyn Nelson (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) tallied two wins capturing the 1000 free (10:36.80) and 500 free (5:13.10).
- Freshman Izzie Campion (Auckland, New Zealand) and freshman Grace Mahon (Orange, Conn.) each earned their first collegiate wins. Campion placed first in the 200 back (2:10.56) and Mahon won the 200 fly (2:10.89).
- Junior Annie Jencova (Waikanae, New Zealand) was first in the 200 free (1:56.42) and junior Megumi Komoto (Schaumburg, Ill.) took the 100 fly (58:08).
- The 200 medley relay team of Guilfoil, freshman Emily Wright (Ventura, Calif.), Komoto and Mahoney started the meet by winning with a time of 1:48.55.
