Danielle Heine and Jordan Hoffman finished third and fourth in the pole vault on Friday for the 'Cats

STORRS, Conn. - Danielle Heine (Waverly, Pa.) and Jordan Hoffman (North Chelmsford, Mass.) of the University of New Hampshire women's track and field team finished third and fourth in the pole vault, respectively on the opening day of the UConn Northeast Challenge on Friday afternoon from the George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex.

Heine placed third with a mark of 11'7, while Hoffman registered a jump of 11'1 for the Wildcats.

Junior Lauren Quann (Pictou, Nova Scotia) posted a sixth place finish in the javelin throw at 128'6.

The Wildcats return to competition in the final day of the UConn Northeast Challenge on Saturday, April 16. Meet time is 11am at the George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex.
