Robinson Named Hockey East Goaltender of the Week for Third Time This Season

Robinson posted a shutout versus No. 13 UMass Lowell.
AMESBURY, Mass. – University of New Hampshire senior goalie Mike Robinson (Bedford, N.H.) has been named the Hockey East Goaltender of the Week for the third time this season. This is Robinson's fifth career Hockey East Weekly honor as he previously won Goaltender of the Week (Nov. 29, 2021 & Nov. 22, 2021), Player of the Week (Jan. 27, 2020) and Defensive Player of the Week (Jan. 21, 2019).
Robinson posted a 1.02 goals against average and a .967 save percentage as he went 1-1-0 on the week. He made 58 saves on 60 shots faced. Robinson made 26 saves and allowed two goals versus Vermont in the 3-0 loss on Feb. 11 on the road, while he recorded his second shutout of the season and the ninth of his career as he made 32 saves versus #13 UMass Lowell in the 3-0 win on Feb. 13.
Robinson has 2,556 career saves which are fifth all-time at UNH. His 107 games played are third all-time at UNH by a goalie.
The Wildcats (13-14-1, 7-11-1 Hockey East) return to action on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 18-19 at Maine (5-17-4, 3-13-2 Hockey East) at 7 PM. The game on Friday is on NESN, while the contest on Saturday is on College SportsLive.
