Elizabeth Martell Named America East All-Academic Honoree

DURHAM, N.H. -- Junior distance runner Elizabeth Martell (Essex Junction, Vt.) of the University of New Hampshire women's cross country team was one of 11 student-athletes named to the America East All-Academic Team, which was announced on Tuesday by the conference office.
Martell, who owns a a 3.80 cumulative GPA as a Psychology major, was also named to the Cross Country America East Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2021 and to the 2022 America East Track & Field America East Commissioner's Honor Roll. Has been on the Dean's List all four semesters at UNH.
Martell posted a time of 18:04.8 at the 2022 America East Cross Country Championships, which was 15th best among the field of 82 runners and helped UNH to a third-place finish at the meet. She posted a time of 22:19.9, which was 38th among the field at the IC4A/ECAC Championships and helped the team to a third-place mark.
