DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team fell to Northeastern, 63-51 on Saturday afternoon at Lundholm Gym.

Freshman guard Breezie Williams (Canton, Ohio) led the 'Cats in points with 10 and assists with five. Freshmen guard Avery O'Connor (Dedham, Mass.) was right behind Williams with nine points and three rebounds.

The Wildcats' record sits at 2-3 (0-0 AE), and Northeastern improves to 2-2 (0-0 CAA).

FIRST QUARTER:
-       Northeastern went on an early 11-2 run in the first quarter.
-       Freshman guard Breezie Williams (Canton, Ohio) made an impact in the first with two points, an assist, a rebound, and drew an offensive charge cutting the lead to 11-9.
-       Williams and O' Connor had eight of the 14 points for UNH in the first quarter.

SECOND QUARTER:
- Williams had a great pass across the court allowing junior guard Adara Groman (Hopkinton, Mass.) to drain a layup.
- O'Connor and Williams both with put up six points for the 'Cats.

THIRD QUARTER:
- O'Connor scored first in the second half with a pull up three pointer.
- Senior center Brooke Kane (Derry, NH) tallied a steal and a three in the third quarter.

FOURTH QUARTER:
- Freshman guard Diana Eliasson (Stockholm, Sweden) sunk a backboard three to break the lead down to 10 for the first time since the second quarter for the Wildcats.
- Groman drained a couple last minute buckets at the end of the quarter.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
-       The Huskies out rebounded the 'Cats, 38 to 27.
-       UNH forced 22 Northeastern turnovers.
-       UNH had 22 points in the paint compared to the Huskies 16.
