The battery of sophomore Jaiden Wittel (Stroudsburg, Pa.) and senior captain Isabelle Danahy (Chelmsford, Mass.) set up the direct shot by freshman Rosalie Post (The Hague, Netherlands), but her high strike that went into the cage was immediately waved off by the referee.

- The Wildcats applied more pressure offensively with two shots, one on goal.
- UNH's third corner of the game came with 2:08 on the clock in the third. Freshman Angela Lee (Eindhoven, The Netherlands) inserted a short corner to senior Conner Allen (Centreville, Md.), whose low shot was stopped by Santo's stacked leg pads.
- Junior Tori Palumbo (Ayer, Mass.) swept the rebound from the middle of the circle toward the left post, where Lee lifted a shot over Santos but the ball trickled wide of the far post.
FOURTH QUARTER
- Stanford closed out the game with two goals in the last quarter with Juli Porto striking in the 57th minute and Zanolli scoring with eight seconds left.
- The Wildcats were again able to get one corner but could not convert in the 50th minute. Lee once again made the short insert to Allen, who this time slipped a pass across the circle to senior captain Bloem van den Brekel (Eindhoven, Netherlands) and her shot from the top-right side was blocked by a charging defender.
- Woods recorded another save, but Stanford's offensive pressure proved to be too much.
- Zanolli dribbled down the left side and lifted a pass across the goalmouth that Porto knocked out of midair into the open cage at 56:18.
