DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's track & field team, coming off a top-10 finish at the New England Championships, heads down to Kingston, Rhode Island this Saturday, February 8 for the URI Coaches Tribute Meet.
The Wildcats will continue to use these next few meets ahead of the conference weekend as stepping stones to get into championship condition with more big meet competition.
Sophomore thrower Sarah Williams (Dover, N.H.) looks to continue her impressive second year of competition for UNH, as she's set personal bests in the weight throw three times already this season.
New Hampshire will also send down a trio of jumpers who have also excelled early in the season; multi-eventer Saige Tudsico (Haverhill, Mass.) and pole vaulters Danielle Heine (Waverly, Pa.) and Jordan Hoffman (North Chelmsford, Mass.).
Looking to continue UNH's strong trend of distance and middle distance success will be the group of Michaella Conery (Concord, N.H.) Elisabeth Danis (Nottingham, N.H.), Madeline Quigely (Rowley, Mass.) and Caroline Mahoney (Bedford, N.H.), looking to round out New Hampshire's distance group with the conference championships approaching.
