KELSEY HOGAN POSTGAME QUOTES
Overall thoughts on game:
"Second half, we adjusted, especially defensively. I feel like that's been the story of us, these last five games. Proud of our young ladies, they showed fight to the end."
On 3-point shooting:
"That's an improvement that we've been working on, especially from last year to this year. Our young ladies have been knocking shots down in practice, so I knew it was a matter of time... I hope this is almost like a breakout
game for us from the 3-point line."
"She doesn't play like a freshman. She's a gamer. You saw it again today, too, just hitting big shots... I think she's going to continue to improve, especially with her confidence, she's going to flourish."
Looking ahead:
"For us, it's going to definitely be a lot of film. We are going to take this little break that we have, we're going to take charge of it... We're going to continue to have the mindset and the philosophy to get better every single day."
UP NEXT: The Wildcats will return to action when they take on America East opponent Hartford on Sunday and Monday, Dec. 27-28, at 1:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
