The Series with Boston College
• The series history between UNH and BC goes back all the way to 1985, but this will be the first meeting of the two teams in 19 years. (Last meeting: September 19, 2000)
• BC holds a slight edge in the all-time series record at 9-5-3. The Eagles have a 4-0-1 record in the last five meetings.

• Sophomore goalkeeper Cat Sheppard (Nesconset, N.Y.) got the start and the win in net playing 75 minutes and making two saves. Junior Cam Droste (Lone Tree, Colo.) entered the game in relief and made one save to preserve the combined shutout.
The State of New Hampshire
• New Hampshire enters the 2019 season picked fifth in the America East preseason coaches poll, with one first-place vote.
• The Wildcats carry a large number of returning, experienced student-athletes, with 19 members of the 2018 roster returning, including 10 seniors.
• Among the returning seniors are last season's leading goal scorers: Ally Reynolds with nine points on four goals and an assist, Kaylan Williams with eight points on three goals, two assists, and Liz Lane (Porter, Maine) who tallied three straight game-winning goals late in the season, along with an assist for seven points on the season.
• Other key returners for the Wildcats include senior back and team captain Caitlyn Keenan who appeared in 12 of UNH's 18 games, coming back from a nose injury early in the season, and junior captain Casey Peterson (Round Hill, Va.). The midfield/forward combo tallied a four-point game against Rhode Island with a goal and two assists.
• All-Conference Second-Teamer Megan Rumbold (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) tallied a late game-tying goal against Northeastern last season, and was a consistent member of the UNH backline, starting all 18 games.
• Also joining Rumbold from last year's backline are senior captain Maddie Murdick (Burlington, Conn.), along with fellow seniors Caroline Wysocki (Agawam, Mass.) and Caitlyn Keenan.
A New Face In Net
• Sophomore goalkeeper Cat Sheppard got her first career start when UNH faced the Rhode Island Rams in its season opener. Sheppard did not face a shot on target in the first half, but stopped all five in the second half to repel the URI attack.
• Sheppard posted her first clean sheet against Sacred Heart in the second game of the season, stopping both SHU shots on goal in the 3-0 victory.
• So far in her first five starts Sheppard sits at a .857 save% and a 0.62 GAA, stopping 18 of 21 opposing shots on target.
• Junior Cam Droste has seen action in one game this season, playing 15 minutes with a 1.000 save percentage.
Wiley Runs Wild
• Freshman midfield/forward Whitney Wiley was named the America East Rookie of the Week for the first week of the regular season. Wiley tallied two goals against Sacred Heart, including the game winner, as she beat the defense into the 18-yard box and collected two perfect through-balls from senior Ally Reynolds. Wiley has a team-high three goals on the season.
Making History
• Senior Kaylan Williams tallied an assist on every goal in the victory against Sacred Heart, with two secondary assists and a primary give-and-go assist to Shayna Salis. The program record for assists in a single game is three, originally set by Ellen Weinberg in 1987 and 1989. Williams is now the eighth Wildcat tied for that record.
