Wildcats challenge Tar Heels in EAGL matchup
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of New Hampshire gymnastics team looks to extend its winning streak to six when it challenges the University of North Carolina in an EAGL dual meet Friday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. at Carmichael Arena in Chapel Hill, N.C. The meet will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.

LAST TIME OUT
- UNH went 3-0 on a two-meet weekend, scoring a 194.800 to defeat host San Jose State (194.400) and Sacramento State (192.275) at a tri-meet Friday, Feb. 15. The 'Cats then tallied a season-high 196.025 on Sunday, Feb. 17, in a dual-meet victory over host UC Davis (195.500).
- Danielle Mulligan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) won or shared first in five events on the weekend. The senior scored a 9.875 on uneven bars (T-1st) and finished first in all-around (39.200) on Friday. She placed first on bars (9.825) and balance beam (9.900) en route to a personal-best all-around score of 39.325, collecting her fifth all-around championship on Sunday.
- Hailey Lui (Collegeville, Pa.) matched a career-high 9.800 on bars (second) and set a personal-best 9.850 on floor exercise (T-3rd) in Sunday's meet.
- On Friday, Nicole O'Leary (Newtown, Conn.) scored a 9.800 to top the podium on vault for her fourth consecutive meet, and Courtney Bondanza (Buffalo, N.Y.) shared first place on beam (9.825).
MULLIGAN, LUI EARN EAGL WEEKLY AWARDS
- On Tuesday, Feb. 19, Mulligan was named EAGL Gymnast of the Week for the third time this season, and Lui was named EAGL Rookie of the Week one week after she earned EAGL co-Specialist of the Week honors. In six weeks of competition, the Wildcats have claimed nine EAGL weekly awards.

SCOUTING THE TAR HEELS
•In the last meeting between UNH and North Carolina, the Wildcats scored a 196.300 to defeat the Tar Heels at the 2018 EAGL Championship, hosted by Towson. UNH finished runner-up, and North Carolina placed sixth in the six-team meet.
•North Carolina is coming off a dual meet loss to host N.C. State on Feb. 16. The Wolfpack defeated UNC, 195.850-193.700.
•Junior Khazia Hislop, this week's EAGL Specialist of the Week, shared the top spot on balance beam and tied for second on floor exercise. She ranks No. 1 in EAGL on vault with a 9.850 average, on beam with a 9.842 average, and on floor with a 9.883 average.
•Derek Galvin is in his 38th year as North Carolina's head coach. The Tar Heels have won five EAGL Championships, including back-to-back titles in 2010 and 2011.
