Mullin Wins Two Events and All-Round at Senior Day Victory

‘Cats take down Bowling Green and GWU
DURHAM, N.H. – Senior Serena Mullin (Hamden, Conn.) finished first place on floor exercise, vault and all-round to help the UNH gymnastics team to win Senior day home meet against Bowling Green and George Washington.
In the second rotation, Mullin earned a 9.825 and was just barely edged out of first place by GWU's Deana Sheremeta. Sophomore Peyton Novinger (Hershey, Pa.) and junior Zoe Arthur (El Segundo, Calif.) had tied scores of 9.775 to earn them fifth place.
After a slow second rotation, UNH was able to get back in the grove on beam with junior Mady Harvey (Freeland, Mich.) claiming the top spot with a 9.875, making this her eighth win on bars this season. Ockerbloom earned a 9.800 to tie with GWU's Brooke Izzo for third place.
On floor exercise, Mullin scored a 9.875 to claim her second event win of the day. McMullen was also able to clinch a shared second place podium with BG's Kayla Shaw with a 9.850.
In the all-around Mullin won her fifth all-around of the season and equaled her season-high with a 39.225; her performance today earned her the team's Katie Baldwin Expression Award for the meet.

There was five way tie score 9.750 between junior McCall McMullen (Athens, Ga.), freshmen Amelia Lannon (Sutton, Mass.), sophomore Stacy Boss (Richboro, Pa.) and BG's Madison Coburn.
