Jaiden Wittel (Stroudsburg, Pa.) sent in a long entry pass from the right side to the top of the circle. Danahy collected the ball, then turned and ripped a low shot just wide of the left post.
Maine's Riley Field dribbled the ball from outside the 25 to the top-right circle, and then drove a shot that was tipped by Julia Ross inside the left side of the cage to give Maine the 1-0 lead at 38:07.
4th QUARTER
In the 46th minute, Maine's Nina Keur dribbled into the top of the circle and her shot through traffic increased the lead 2-0 just 29 seconds into the final frame.
