America East announced this week that the top four seeds of the conference tournament have been secured by Vermont, UMBC, Hartford and UAlbany. That means New Hampshire, currently tied for fifth with Stony Brook, will be traveling to UMBC, Hartford or UAlbany for a quarterfinal game on March 3.
UNH has a 27-42 lifetime record against Hartford. The Hawks' halted New Hampshire's six-game win streak in the series with a 79-62 victory in Lundholm Gym on Jan. 31.
Tanner Leissner scored a team-high 16 points to become the program's all-time leading scorer with 1,872 career points in the Feb. 11 home game vs. UMBC. He broke the previous record of 1,861 held by Al McClain since 1984. Leissner's benchmark is at 1,911 points.
Leissner is also UNH's career record holder in minutes (3,985), free throws made (516) and attempted (667).
Iba Camara is UNH's all-time rebound leader with 986.
UNH is atop the America East leaderboard in five statistics.
Leissner has been the team's top scorer 21 of 28 games (10 of 14 America East games).
Camara has been UNH's top rebounder in 20 of 28 games (12 of 14 conference games).
After dominating the glass a majority of the season, UNH has recorded the rebounding edge just one of the past six games.
