- UNH and Iowa faced off in the 1986 NCAA national title game and the Hawkeyes won 2-1 in double overtime.
- The last time these teams met was in 2004, when Iowa prevailed 5-0 at home.
- UNH's only win in the series came in the first meeting in 1980 by a score of 1-0 in Durham.
HOLDING OFF HOFSTRA
- UNH dominated in shots (24-3) and penalty corners (7-1) to record a 3-1 victory against Hofstra in the Wildcats' Sept. 3 home opener at Memorial Field.

MIDFIELD MAINSTAYS
- In addition to Gianna Bensaia and Kayla Sliz, the midfield is patrolled by seniors Aggie Sutherland and Brittany Marshall as well as junior Rachel Bossi.
