New Hampshire's three-game homestand concludes vs. Niagara University; the three-game stretch began Nov 29 with a 70-69 loss to Boston University and continued with a 75-59 win against Bryant University on Dec. 2. This is the Wildcats' longest homestand of the 2017-18 season.
UNH has a 5-12 lifetime record against Niagara University; all 17 meetings occurred between the 1980-81 and 1988-89 seasons, when both programs were members of the North Atlantic Conference (now America East).
New Hampshire has used six different starting lineups in eight games. Head coach Bill Herrion has sent a different starting quintet to the court each of the last five games. Tanner Leissner is the only Wildcat who has started every game; Iba Camara, Jordan Reed and Elijah Jordan all have seven starts.
Senior forward and captain Iba Camara ranks No. 6 in the nation in defensive rebounds per game (8.5), 14th in rebounds per game (10.6) and 20th in total rebounds (85). He is also No. 8 in double-doubles with five.
Camara is UNH's active leader in career games played with 99. Tanner Leissner, another senior forward and captain, is next with 98 games played and Jacoby Armstrong has appeared in 94 games. Leissner has the most career starts among active players at 96.
Leissner (19 points, 12 rebounds) and Camara (16p, 14r) both recorded a double-double against Bryant. Camara has recorded a double-double each of the past three games and five times this season. Leissner has two double-doubles.
