UNH won the only previous matchup against Lyndon State College. The Wildcats prevailed 82-45 on Nov. 13, 2015 at Lundholm Gym.
New Hampshire is No. 17 in the nation in free throw percentage at 78.2% (140-179).
Senior forward and captain Iba Camara ranks No. 8 in the nation in defensive rebounds per game (8.2) as well as 16th in both total rebounds (104) and rebounds per game (10.4). He is also No. 17 in double-doubles with five.
UNH is atop the America East leaderboard in free throw percentage, defensive field goal percentage (41.8%), rebounding (39.6 rpg) and defensive rebounding (28.90 per game), and the Wildcats have also committed the fewest turnovers (124). New Hampshire ranks second in the conference in rebounding margin (+5.3) and scoring defense (68.5 ppg).
UNH head coach Bill Herrion is approaching his 400th career victory. He enters Saturday's game with 396 wins, 159 of which have been at the helm of New Hampshire.
At his current average of 19.2 ppg this season, Tanner Leissner is on pace to break the UNH scoring record of 1,861 – held by Al McClain (1980-84) – in early February.
At his current average of 10.4 rebounds per game this season, Camara will surpass UNH's benchmark of 897 – held by Dave Pemberton (1969-72) – in late January.
Three of the Wildcats' losses have been by less than five points and five of the eight losses overall have been by less than 10 points.
