Perrodin Wins First NE Gold, Women's Track Places Fourth (49.75 points) at NE Championships

BOSTON – Senior Lauren Perrodin (Coral Springs, Fla.) won her first New England Championship gold medal as the University of New Hampshire women's track & field team placed fourth out of 32 teams in Boston.
New Hampshire placed fourth overall out of 32 teams with 49.75 points.

- Sophomore Danielle Gajewski (Danville, N.H.) broke the 500-meter record by 0.17 seconds. The original record was set by Megan Donohue in 2011.
- Perrodin secured her first New England championship in her senior season.
- Head coach Robert Hoppler on Perrodin: "Arguably one of the best short sprinters in UNH history, finally winning a championship as a senior. We are very excited for Lauren."
- Senior Chelsey Serrano (Raymond, N.H.) set a personal record in the 3,000-meter run. She was the only senior in the top-7 finishers.
- The distance medley relay team finished second overall, just 1.26 seconds behind the champion.
