Men's Cross Country Finishes 11th at the Boston College Invitational Coast-to-Coast Meet

BOSTON – The University of New Hampshire men's cross country team finished 11th overall (346 points) at the 2014 Boston College Invitational Coast-to-Coast Meet on Friday afternoon at historic Franklin Park.
Three members for UNH completed the race in twenty-five minutes. Senior John Prizzi (Wykcoff, N.J.) paced the way for the Wildcats as he finished 59th overall (25:30). Zachary Chabot (Manchester, N.H.) placed 74th with a time of 25:45 while Robert Biro (Rockaway, N.J.) placed 85th (25:57).
Senior Kevin Greene (Silver Springs, Md.) ran a time of 26:01, finishing 91st. Jeremy Wildgoose (Woodstock, Conn.) and Luke Miller (Birdsboro, Pa.) placed 96th and 97th respectively, one second apart from one another.
University of Oregon (24), Syracuse University (52), and Providence College (79) rounded out the top three spots.
The Wildcats finished one sport in front of fellow America East team Stony Brook University (378).
The 8K race featured many of the top teams in the Northeast Region, including No. 1 Syracuse, No. 3 Providence, No. 4 Columbia, No. 6 Harvard, No. 8 Cornell, No. 9 Northeastern, and No. 15 Stony Brook.
The squad heads back to Franklin Park on Saturday (Oct. 11) to take part in the New England Cross Country Championships at 11:45 a.m.
