Men's Track & Field Tied for Sixth after Day One of America East Championships

EASTON, Mass. – The University of New Hampshire men's track and field team ended day one of the New England Championships tied for sixth place with 10 points. The event is being held at Stonehill College.
Junior Jesse Swink (Groton, Conn.) took seventh place in the javelin throw, hitting a mark of 55.46 meters. In the long jump, senior Max Hoddwells (Wayne, Maine) finished second. He landed at 6.90 meters.
Hoddwells continued his success in the 110 meter hurdles, qualifying for the finals after finishing seventh. He crossed the line with a time of 14.96.
